Make this delicious, Christmassy liqueur, perfect for a Christmas Eve tipple, or as a gift - and after straining, save the ingredients which are perfect for using in Christmas makes and bakes!

Festive Beard Oil Recipe

A subtly fragranced beard oil with a hint of Christmas scent from the frankincense.

This doesn't just have to be a Christmas gift, it's a great gift to give to your favourite bearded men any time - at other times you could switch the frankincense oil for a change (suggestions below).

Makes six 10ml bottles of beard oil, or four 15ml bottles of beard oil - you can easily halve the recipe if you like. Do not be tempted to increase the ratio of essential oils to carrier oils.

About me...

I am a 38 year old mother of two, and I have been cooking for over twenty years, since being inspired by attending an International Cuisine cookery course at a college aged 15. My children are 10 and 11 and they love cooking with me, and there is a ‘Mr Andrea’ who loves eating my experiments and is a great ‘sous chef’ (that's me being cheeky - he cooks too!) and an inspiration to me every day. I work in a school with primary aged children mostly helping those with special education needs, as well as those in the gifted and talented bracket. I paint in oils, predominately painting canvases as gifts for my friends related to their interests (I've only kept one of my paintings!). I also play the piano (occasionally paid!) and I have post box red hair (long story) and a cheeky sense of humour and a lot of patience. Oh, and I’m obsessed with food, I think…
