Healthy Raspberry Yoghurt Ice, with Oatbran

Like ice-cream, but healthy...?

And takes seconds?

Well, count me in! Also delicious with blueberries, mangoes, strawberries, or whatever your favourite frozen fruit is...

So simple, just blitz - most run-of-the-mill food processors and hand blenders will cope with this easily, made in seconds.

Serves one (easily doubled etc.), 158 calories.

Takes two minutes, and feels far more indulgent that it really is, packed with healthy goodies! You could have this as breakfast, a snack, or a dessert as well - although in this form it is unsweetened, so you may want to add honey, or stevia etc. to it to your taste. Try it with different frozen fruits, like strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, mango chunks or a mixture!

Ingredients

  • 100g greek yoghurt (I used ‘Total’, which is 9% fat, 96 cals per 100g) [96]
  • 50g frozen raspberries (or your fruit of choice) [16]
  • 1 ½ tbsp (13g) oatbran [46]

Method
Weigh all the ingredients into a small blender/processor (or Thermomix), and pulse until coarsely mixed (you’re not looking for a smooth paste, you just want the raspberries chopped and incorporated). Serve immediately, and enjoy!

Add honey to taste if desired - 16 calories per teaspoon.
